Protecting their health and safety is crucial for us. Precautions in all our production locations, warehouses and sales offices are in place and local government rules are strictly adhered to and developments are followed closely.
Our customers and all patients around the globe can rest assured that DFE Pharma will apply to the following principles at any time: Quality first and security of supply! To achieve and ensure this even during the pandemic, we are making enormous efforts to keep our high service and quality levels. We will never accept any compromises in terms of quality. Furthermore, we continue to invest in a high safety stock of raw materials and finished products. Strong safety measures are already in place to keep our manufacturing sites up and running to fulfill all orders to the best of our ability.
However, the longer the crisis lasts, the greater the challenges. This especially impacts the costs for logistics and transportation, which have risen steadily, sometimes by leaps and bounds. Since the beginning of 2021 we also experience an unprecedented increase of various input costs for all parts of our business leading to significantly higher cost of goods.
These developments are out of our control and are unfortunately one of the major consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic on our industry. This is already reflected in the commercial conditions of many companies, including DFE Pharma. Therefore we ask you – our customers – for your understanding of the unavoidable measures we need to take to manage the challenges of this pandemic together.
